When traveling to Kenya, it’s important to note that there is no Visa on Arrival for visitors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Instead, the government has implemented an online system that allows foreigners to apply for their Kenya visas<\/strong><\/a> in advance.<\/p>\n

This streamlined process enables convenience and efficiency, allowing one to complete the visa application before departing for the trip.<\/p>\n

The Electronic Travel Authorization <\/strong>is Kenya’s new and improved digital visa system. Launched on January 5, 2024, the platform replaces the older eVisa portal, offering a streamlined and convenient process.<\/p>\n

Introduced under a directive from President William Ruto, the eTA operates through a dedicated portal at https:\/\/www.etakenya.go.ke<\/strong><\/a>. The system aims to simplify the visa procedure, allowing one to seek authorization from anywhere.<\/p>\n

Besides the eTA, travelers may need a permit or pass if going to Kenya for purposes other than tourism, business, or transit.<\/p>\n
